Addin causes meeting to freeze. Workaround and debug info attached
I also posted this in the GENERAL forum, as I'm not sure which one to post under. If I get an answer in either place I will go back and edit the other post with the solution.
Hi All,
Scenerio:
Normal operation of connectpro (without the addin installed) does this:
- Click link
- Fullscreen window opens with grey background and "Loading..." progress bar
- Loading progress bar completes and I enter meeting room
After installing the connectpro addin, this happens:
-Click link
- Fullscreen window opens with grey background and "Loading" progress bar
- Small Window appears (about 450x450 pixels) with white background ... nothing more happens. Right clicking on this window shows "Movie not loaded"
-Info about my system:
Windows Vista 32bit Service Pack 2
2.0GB ram
Other things worth noting:
- The fault appears to happen in all browsers (Tested with I.E 8, Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Opera)
- The fullscreen window (with the grey background) has a URL at the top that starts with "HTTPS" .. if I manually change this URL to "HTTP" and then press enter on the keyboard to send the request again, the meeting starts successfully.
In accordance with another post I saw on this forum, I have done the following to extract more debugging info:
Created "mms.cfg" in the C:/Windows/System32/ folder
put the lines :
PlayerLogging=1
SingleLogFile=0
in that mms.cfg file.
I then tried to enter the meeting again, and a debug text file connectaddin-2010-06-04-15-51-59.log was put in My Documents folder, here is the contents:

#Start-Date: 2010-06-04 15:51:59 (utc)

Yes, I am!
When I enable SSL, Addin becomes unable to enter in the meetings.
