pptx files in Connect Pro

I have two "identical files" - one is in .ppt format and the other in .pptx.
When I try to use the .pptx file it gives me mirror images of some text in boxes.  This does  NOT happen with the ,ppt versions.   Annoying, since it means that I need to convert all my powerpoint decks to .ppt.  Has anyone else had this problem?  Is there a fix?

This is due to the conversion engine behind the scenes in Connect. The next major update (due out in less than a month) should resolve most of the Office 07 issues. So until the next update, keep saving as PPT and all should work fine.
