Presenter tab is gone after Powerpoint crashed

Hi,

I created a small presentation in PowerPoint just to test and learn Presenter features. I recorded some audio for each slide - a total of nine slides - and then pressed Publish.

PowerPoint crashed (I wonder why). When I opened it again, the Presenter tab was gone.

I ran Presenter installer again and chose "Repair" on the wizard. No good.

Please, is there an easier way to restore Presenter tab or should I uninstall and resinstall the software?

Thank you for any ideas.

Re: Presenter tab is gone after Powerpoint crashed

Hi Marcosp,

This has happened before. If you are using 2007 powerpoint, you can check to see if the Presenter addin has been disabled. Open powerpoint and click the office button, then select powerpoint options at the bottom of the menu. Select "add-ins" and at the bottom of the screen you can select Manage: disabled add-ins. If the Presenter add-in has been disabled, you should be able to find it there and re-enable it.

You can probably do this in powerpoint 2003, but I just don't know the process for it. Should not be hard to figure out though.

That might help.

Cheers!
