Difference in view from My Training and Training Catalogue

We have a piece of e-learning produced in Flash. It is set up for self enrolment in Training Catalogue.
When launched from My Training it is shown without the toolbar in the top of the browser (IE). However if the user runs the piece by clicking View in Training Catalogue the toolbar is shown in the top of the browser (IE). Depending on the screen setting this result in a missing part of the piece on the screen.
Can anyone tell me if (and how) this setting can be changed?
