API call for size

I'am looking for an API call that would return the size of a SCO.

The sco-search does return the byte-count, but the problem is that sco-search searches only the content of some type of SCOs.
see web services documentation page:182

What I really need is a size of content in a user-content folder.
According to web services documentation page 171, the sco-content API call should return byte-count for all but folders.
But it never returns a size. I never get the byte-count with sco-content.
What API call should I use to get this size?

there is an API call that shows the size of any SCO content:
.../api/xml?action=sco-sizes&filter-folder-id=...
