Compliance and archiving chat transcripts

Hi.

Is there a way to automate the process of emailing chat transcripts? 

Reason: our compliance dept. needs us to capture the transcripts outside of a Connect meeting.

If there is a better way to archive these transcripts I am open to suggestions.

As a side, I am looking into a developer inhouse to create a widget to automate this process for us.

Hi Walter,

Capturing Chat Transcripts can be done in Vantage Point as it already monitors Chat interactions in meetings and could save this data for your compliance purposes.

We could database every chat message in every room and provide a mechanism to recover chat for a specific user, a specific room, or any combination or users over multiple rooms between two points in time.

The data could also be auto-emailed as a meeting ended if you would prefer.

These facilities could be harnessed even if the live video components of Vantage Point were not turned on.

I hope you are well.

Just a follow up to your response (from almost a year ago)...

Are the cost reduced if the video component is not used?  We are trying to remain budget-friendly while adhering to our requirements for Compliance purposes. 

Your solution is in the ball park of what we need.  The cost may not be. 

Just looking for feasible, budget-friendly options.
