Firewire devices not reconised in Connect Pro

I am using an xp pc. I have a canopus ADVC110 connected as it should via firewire. I use CS4, On-location, Premiere, and Adobes Flash Media Live Encoder, all of which reconise the device and accept the audio and video from it.

If I go into "control panel", then click on "scanners and cameras" I can see "AVC compliant DV Tape Recorder / Player" and when i double click on that I can see the video that i am feeding into the ADVC110 device playing.

The problem, Connect Pro simply does not reconise the ADVC110 device. When i select the options offered in the camera / voice pod, nothing happens. In fact i do not event think that the ADVC110 is available to select from, it certainaly is not as an audio input.

I have just installed the Talking Stick application, but still no audio or video seems to make it in to Connect Pro.

Can anyone help.
Kind Regards
Doug

Re: Firewire devices not reconised in Connect Pro

Try Webcamdv or DVDriver for that...With them, you can use a camcorder with firewire in PC as a webcam. Should work with ADVC110.

Or try DVDriver :
