Exclude Text captions turns off the show mouse location and movement

Hi

I've created a new project template and the Recording Preferences have been set to:
Captions:
NO: Add text captions
NO: Convert tooltips to rollover captions
Mouse:
YES: Show mouse location and movement
NO: Add highlight boxes on click

The others don't concern my problem here.

Now when I capture in CP4 with the Caption and Mouse settings above, the mouse location and movement are not shown.  I can get them by r/clicking on the slide and selecting show mouse.

Why doesn't it show these by default?

If I change my preferences in a project created from this template and say YES to Add text captions, the mouse shows up automatically.

Has anyone else experienced this?  I'm presuming it's a bug, or is there something I'm missing?
