Modifying the mail templates

I am trying to figure out how to get ACP to send the regiatration confitmation emails etc as html.

i.e. I'd like the links to the event etc to be clickable - currently this only happens on newer mail clients.

Where are the templates for modifying emails?

Anyone found a solution to this?
Really, I just want to make the email link in notifications to be clickable, but full html email would be great!b
