Is this a Bandwidth issue?
I have users appoximately 600 miles from my server trying to login to our meeting rooms. They are connected via a Satellite shot (600-700ms ping time).
They can get to the login screen, enter a guest name, the connection process begins and hangs at connecting. It will finally time out with the following error message: System Error: The meeting room could not connect to the connect pro server.
I'm running Connect Pro 7 sp3.

Re: Is this a Bandwidth issue?
I have peopleon the other side of the world log into my meeting rooms, so don't think this would be the issue. I am in Texas, my server is in Virginia, and I have customers in Australia who login without issue.
I can't help you from a technical standpoint on this, but can say what my experience has been.

Re: Is this a Bandwidth issue?
One update: I had the remote users run through the connection test page and it errors out on step 2.
I know the server is functioning correctly because my local users have no problems.

Re: Is this a Bandwidth issue?
have your users send you the test report via e-mail. (the 'Send Results' button)
my guess is port 1935 needs to be opened.

Re: Is this a Bandwidth issue?
Yes, I agree with gajett- it sounds like a firewall issue.
