Microphone buzzing

We use VOIP for our sessions. when a presenter's mic is buzzing, what are some steps to eliminate that?
(she has been to the set up wizard, and she can hear the buzzing).  we can hear her clearly but there is a buzzing accompanying her voice. very distracting. any suggestions?

My first question is have you tried a different mic to see if the buzz is still there?  Either your mic or sound card is probably the source of issue.   We had a buzz at one point, and it went away when we replaced the mic (which was old).

Thanks Chris for your response. I will keep that in mind. We resolved this just moments ago by going into the control panel of the user's computer and adjusting the playback volume within the "test hardware" component of sound and audio devices.
