Connect Pro Question

After recording a live video through our Canon digital video recorders using Connect Pro, can we save the videos and later burn them to dvd's?  Once the recording is saved, what file format is it saved in?

Re: Connect Pro Question

How much space would a customer have if they purchased one meeting room with up 100 viewers?  If there is a limitation, how much space is available?

Re: Connect Pro Question

I have taken the liberty of answering both of your posts in one.

Yes, you save the recordings by clicking on 'Make Offline'. Please keep in mind that however long the recording is, that it will take that amount of time to download it because it must be played back and streamed in its entirety to be saved locally. For instance, if the meeting itself was 2 hours in length from start to finish, it will take 2 hours to download, regardless of your download speed. The files are saved in .flv format, and can be converted as necessary so they can be burned to DVD accordingly.

It sounds like you purchased one Named Organizer license to host meetings of up to 100 attendees. Unless you also purchased a Hosted Access License, you don't have the ability to store any content on the server itself, so no space at all, as it requires an additional license. But if you're simply asking how big of a file that you can upload into a Share Pod within your Meeting Room, the answer to that is 102 MB.

Does that clarify?
