Error message: duplicate content

When I try to upload content into a curriculum, and into a training room, I get an error message saying "that name already exists"  "delete item or change name".  I've checked and found no duplicate files already in that curriculum.  What makes something "already exist" or "have the same name"?  Does having the file in another users folder pose a conflict?

Usually that error happens when naming a piece of content, course, or curriculum during creation.

You're seeing this when adding an existing published piece of content to an already existing curriculum or course? I am having a hard-time visualizing this in my mind's eye, do you have a screen shot?
