Different view & functionality when promoted to host vs logging in?
Hello I am new to adobe connect. I just held a practice session and played with promoting participants to host and presenters. I don't know if it is my imagination but it seemed that a person promoted to host saw different thing and was not able to use full functionality of a host. Is this true?
If so where can I get a clear table with the view and functionality available to all 3 roles and the variations for those promoted rather than logging in from the beginning as hosts.
Thank you.

Re: Different view & functionality when promoted to host vs logging in?
Hi Linda,
This should not be the case. Whether a user enters the room as a host or is promoted to a host, the should have equal rights in the meeting. Do you remember what was different between the two views?
(although there is a difference between hosts and presenters). This overview talks about the differences between the roles:

Also as you get familiar with the product, I would go to the Resource Center (http://www.adobe.com/go/connectpro_resources) to learn more about how to use the product.
Best,
David
