Converting Video
Hi All,
Apologies for this being only peripherally related to Connect Pro, but...
We use Sorensen Squeeze to convert video to Flash for sharing from the share pod as a download from the hosted server--Not screen sharing. All the tutorials have been extremely valuable regarding frame rate and sizes but I am shamefully unsure as to which of the Flash settings are best to use when converting to flash for uploading to the server and then showing in the share pod e.g. VP6, 112k, 512k, etc.
We would of course like the highest quality playback without straining the streaming aspect on our attendees computers.
Any guidance from you fellow Squeezers, as always, greatly appreciated.

Re: Converting Video
Hi Alan,
There are two resources that describe this in detail.
This PDF includes recommended settings for Frame Rate, Codec, size, etc.
http://www.connectusers.com/tutorials/2 … _meetings/
In our last Best Practices User Group, Peter Ryce went into this topic in great depth taking about trade offs to consider: http://www.connectusers.com/groups/bestpractices/
Go to the March 3, 2009 meeting and view the recording.
If you have any specific questions after reviewing these resources let me know and we can address those for you.
Best,
David
