Creating a Automated Reminder

Hi,

Is there a way to create an automated reminder for a virtual classroom using the API?  Can't find anything in the doc on that matter.

Are you referring to the email reminders that get sent out in advance of a course due-date?  I think that's a property of the SCO that can be set.  Not certain though...

My objective would be to send automated emails to enrollees warning them their class is about to begin. 

Otherwise, i'll have to run a cron job locally.
