Problems uploading files to a meeting using a mac

I'm running into a problem using Acrobat Connect when using a Mac.  If I connect to a meeting using an XP machine I can share a document(jpg).  But if I use a Mac, it doesn't work.  I get to the point where it asks for the file but when I choose the file and hit OK nothing happens.

Is there something that needs to be installed besides the Connect add in?

Load the file on the desktop first, then it should work.

Re: Problems uploading files to a meeting using a mac

This is a wild guess hoping it may help, but I'm wondering if the extension may have something to do with it. I've not tested it, but if the capitalization is there in the extension - maybe Connect isn't seeing it.  Try renaming it to lowercase jpg if that is the case.. Some photo editing software capitalizes the jpg extension and some software have issues with that.

Any update on this issue? Were you able to get the issue resolved?

Re: Problems uploading files to a meeting using a mac

I have reconstructed this issue with my Mac.
The extension of the file didn't seem to matter but strangely enough the fact of putting the file on my desktop did. Why this is the case I do not know. There are some other applications I have the same situation with.
