Whiteboard issue with text in shapes

I have a whiteboard with a variety of shapes that contain text. When I switch to the Text tool, the format of the text within the shapes can change. For example, the last letter might disappear, or the line breaks might change so that two lines of text becomes four lines. When I switch to the Selection tool, things return to normal.

I can work around the issue by creating the shape and a text box separately and placing the text on top of the shape. However, this becomes cumbersome when I want to move the shape and text together.

Has anyone else experienced this and found a solution?

Dawn,

Is this being seen in the Flash or HTML version of the Connect room? I ask because if it's Flash, I'd not expect much in the way of a fix as that is soon to be no more. If it is in the HTML version then it should be brought up.
