Record / download audio only

Is it possible to record and download only the audio portion of the meeting?

Re: Record / download audio only

There are a couple options.

If integrated telephony is used, then there may be an MP3 audio file that is recorded and saved in their system. I believe the four that have this integration all have ways to download that MP3 from their customer portals.

If you are looking to get the audio out of Connect, it is a little more involved. Record the meeting through the Record option in the Meeting Menu. After the recording is complete you can add this to the URL for viewing of the recording: /output/BestRecording.zip?download=zip. So it would look something like https://yourcompany.adobeconnect.com/p4hn69shng/output/WigetsAndStuff.zip?download=zip

In that zip file you will find the source files of the recording, and no they aren't useful for have a local version of the recording. There may be an MP3 audio file in there, if you are using an integrated telephony provider and the audio is recorded on their end, or you will have a file called cameraVoip_xx.flv, which contains the audio recorded by Connect. Un-zip that file and then use a service that can convert the FLV to MP3 to get the MP3 file out of the FLV. I've used Zamzar and had good results for the low price of free.
