HTTP Error Unable to Connect to Server - 12031
I am receiving this error message when attempting to publish a presentation.
"HTTP Error Unable to Connect to Server - 12031"
The Connect publishing window also says "Status: 42006 Presenter Publish Error - Exception."
Does anyone know what the problem is? I am using PPT 2007 and Presenter 7.0.2.
Thanks!

I guess you have NTLM authentication enabled. I once faced this issue when we got our Connect server setup for NTLM authentication.
Anyways, for us, it was a non-issue. We just removed NTLM :).

I don't think this is an issue because this is the only presentation I have had a problem publishing out of hundreds of others, unless there is a size issue involved because this presentation does have longer than normal video segments (2.5 hours each).
Anyone else?
Thanks!

Would it be possible to share the source presentation (with its assets)? I think it would be huge (because of the long videos) but in case there is some easy way to do it.

Do you have a presenter quiz embedded in that presentation? Maybe this link might help?

I'm hoping you meant to type 2.5 minutes each. If there are multiple 2+ hour segments, I'm guessing it would time out before uploading.
Regardless, I would try publishing the presentation locally to your computer and checking the option to create a ZIP file. You can then upload this ZIP file to the Connect Server like you would any other piece of content.

I am getting the same error. 42006 Presenter Publish Error. I have a file that was an IFO that I converted to swf. It is about 22 min long and the file is 253,871 KB. I also tried to save it to my local as a ZIP file as someone else suggested but it errored out too. I'm on Adobe Presenter 6.0. Please help....there is no quiz involved.
