I can't screen share

I just installed Adobe CONNECT.   I made a new meeting as HOST.   When I open to the meeting room, the SHARE screen is just dark with only the words "NOTHING IS BEING SHARED."   i can't find a way to share a file or desktop or anything.  The CONNECT add in didn't resolve the problem.  Appreciate help getting around this problem.

It sounds like you are in the room and at Participant level permissions. You need to be sure you are a memeber of the Meeting Host group as well as having Host rights to the room.

The Add-in will be required for sharing your screen, but since you already have it installed, you should just be able to share your screen once you get the permissions issue squared away.
