Quick Intro. to Connect Content Needed
We have just purchased the hosted version of Connect for use in our company. I would like to provide a brief, 10 min. introduction of Connect to our staff at our next staff meeting...Something along these lines: 1. What is Connect? 2. Features and Functions (high level) 3. How it could be used here at PSI.
Does anyone know of a basic intro that already exists rather than me re-creating the wheel? I've tried the Connect website but the info. there is "sales pitchy". Thanks.

Re: Quick Intro. to Connect Content Needed
Did you happen to purchase from Clarix Technologies? We provide free on-going certified training to all of our clients. If you did and would like to contact me, i'll be more than happy to schedule you into one of our sessions and open the invite up to anyone within your organization.
Regards,

Re: Quick Intro. to Connect Content Needed
Penn State has a periodic online session live that was very helpful to me when I started. You have to become a "friend of PSU" to see these sessions. It's free. Go here: http://meeting.psu.edu/
Lots of excellent resources on their site.

Re: Quick Intro. to Connect Content Needed
I've just created a high-level overview of the four different connect modules. You can see them all here:

I've also posted them to YouTube:

Re: Quick Intro. to Connect Content Needed
Alistair,
The videos are wonderful, but on YouTube, they are very blurry, and on the admin.acrobat.com site, the audio is very choppy.
I would love to use this to help my new regional admins learn the system. Is there any other source for the videos that isn't choppy or blurry?
Again, I really love the content and the 'flow.'

Re: Quick Intro. to Connect Content Needed
Hi All,
In addition to Alistair's Overview videos, there are some additional resources in the Tutorials area:
A PowerPoint Deck with a Connect Pro overview:

A paper highlighting various common use cases:
http://www.connectusers.com/tutorials/2 … /index.php
Training Starter Decks on How to Use Connect Pro:

Hope this helps,
David
