How to change 'iCal' default for Microsoft Outlook calendar?

The university recently upgraded to Connect 7, now the 'iCal' feature is set as the default and events are clogging up calendars.  I need to change this as I do not use it and cannot chance forgetting this new step.  Does anyone know how to do this???

I work for a Police force in the UK and we had the same problem. I contacted Adobe through the platinum support and they fixed the problem by sending our IT support an xml file.  If you wish to contact me I could put you in touch with our IT guys and they could tell you exactly what they did.
