Ranking of Cameras and Microphones?

Hi,
Has anyone seen or done a ranking of optional cameras and microphones for Adobe Connect Pro? It would be great to get an overview of best and most economic products. Right now I am testing:
- QuickCam Vision Pro for Mac, from Logitech - And I have not succeeded yet in getting it to show up in the camera configuration.
- ClearChat Pro USB - And I think there is a humming noise which I have not heard before using other headsets and also my Mac's buil-in microphone.

All hints are more than welcome!

Penn State, a large Connect Pro implementation, has posted these recommendations for their users.

Headset with Microphone
Windows and Mac: Logitech USB ClearChat Comfort USB Headset (HWACHA199)

Web Camera
Windows: Logitech QuickCam Communicate Deluxe
Mac: If you don't have a built-in iSight camera, the iMage USB Webcam is recommended
