Embedding video on slide with video play controls?

We're building a presentaion where we would like to offer a video clip on certain slides. Rather than play when the slide loads, we want to have a brief audio message telling users that if they want to find out more about xxx, then can click on the video in the slide window -- that would activate play.

To do this, I believe we need to embed a swf file with controls that can start the video within it as described above -- user clicks on video (i.e. as with YouTube interface).

Does anyone know of a swf file we could user, or have anyy other ideas?
