Connect Recordings - the host or participants?

Hi,
Im interested to find out if, when recording a session, that it records from the hosts point of view or the participants? Reason being there extra functionality, private messages etc that the host will see, but would not want viewers of the recording to see. So can you select to record from a participants point of view?

Any help gratefully appreciated

All recordings are done from the Participant point of view. Private messages will not show in the recording.
