Keeping Connect or Switching?

So, I am sure I don't have to say how disappointed my company is with Connect and the support from Adobe.  It is a great product, but the company needs to put more efforts into making it reliable and supporting it and their customers.

That being said, I have been tasked by my boss to find other solutions incase it is decided that we will stop using Connect.  I am curious as to what conclusions others have come to when faced with this decision and what other solutions you looked at. 

Our typical use case is we record presentations for marketing purposes that we link to from our website.  We also try to hold at least one live presentation a month.  We use VOIP, and use slides, screen share, and video from time to time.

Also, if you chose to stay with Connect, what were key factors in your decisions?
