Adobe Connect and Adobe Media Server on the same server.

Hi,

Is possible to share the same server for an Adobe Connect 9.3.1 installation and an Adobe Media Server installation?

Once the Adobe Connect installation is done the services Flash Media Server and Flash Media Administration Server (Adobe Connect) starts and stops unexpectedly if the services Adobe Media Server and Adobe Media Administration Server (Adobe Media Server) are started.

Did you install Connect on a server where there is an AMS installation? They cannont reside on the same server.

Connect is built on Flash Media Server technology and runs a version of FMS (older AMS) with the server. If you have FMS and AMS installed on the same server it will cause port conflicts, at the least, and other possible issues. Port conflicts will cause one to shut down.
