Meeting room does not open with the mobile app (iOS9)

Hello everybody,

a short time ago Apple has released iOS9. Now we also have many users who dial in with an iPad into a meeting room. the URL for the meeting room is opened in the Safari browser is (eg xxx.adobeconnect.com/meetingname) then a page appear , that the mobile app is required and the user can continue only when the app is installed.

If you now select the button to continue, nothing happens - the meeting room does not open (iOS9). What is the place for the error and how it can be resolved, although the app is installed on the corresponding iPad. ? in older iPads with iOS 5 the whole browser crashes and the room can not be opened too.

We have also found that an iPad with the app does not support records of a meeting room - there is a message that Adobe Flash is required - which is not even possible

Thank you for feedback

Here is the "button-page":

I'm sure Adobe is working to support iOS 9, an update to the app is likely in the near future.

Recordings are not supported on mobile devices, but there is an option to create an MP4 version of the recording in the hosted environment (with more options to do this in Connect 9.5) which can be viewed on mobile devices.

Re: Meeting room does not open with the mobile app (iOS9)

Hello again,

the error described in the first message with the routing between the browser and the Safari app is unfortunately still not resolved. Once a user clicks the button on ipad nothing happens. What can we offer our participants to take part on the meetings via ipad on ios9? What is a solution and when it would be available?

Thank you for feedback

Re: Meeting room does not open with the mobile app (iOS9)

Hello again,

we have resolved this problem with the Adobe Connect Support Chat. Here for all:

-> I request you to unintall the app and install the latest version of the app from the store and you will not experience this trouble again.

-> So this problem can only fixed if the user install the app new manually not as an update over the store ?

-> Since we have upgraded to the latest version users already with the older version are experiencing this trouble.

If other users have this problem then delete the app and install it new - then everything is fine again :-)
