Installation issue for Upgrade to 9.3.1 (database authentication fails

Hello,

We have a current install of version 9.2 and are upgrading to 9.4.  So far we are stalled out at upgrading past 9.2.x with a 401 error "Login failed for user domain\sqluser".  Has anyone else ran into this before?

We have Adobe Connect authenticate to the sql server database using a service account specifically for this, but for some reason they cannot connect.  I spent all day yesterday with Adobe Support trying to get this to work with no success.  I have tried using the built in sa account and it gives me the same error.  The Connect server is on the same LAN as the sql server and there is nothing blocked for communication between the two.

What does your current custom.ini show for database?  Is it on an instance?
