Live-Streaming with AdobeConnect
Hello Connect-Community,
we have a question for live streaming with Adobe Connect.
Currently, we use 3 cameras that live record the speakers. The cameras are each connected in the following way: HDMI -> Blackmagic Box -> SDI -> PCI Card -> PC.
We can then provide this signal as a webcam to Adobe Connect and show the participants the Video (Webcam-Pod).
Are there any other options for a live stream (maybe not in the Webcam pod)?
For example integrate external live stream providers like livestream.com, ustream?
Or is the Cam-Pod the only way?
We would be happy about feedback. Thanks.

Re: Live-Streaming with AdobeConnect
There are options out there. You can look at the solutions provided here: http://www.adobe.com/products/adobeconn … end.html#3
There are three products wich may fit your needs; TalkingStick, Podium HD and tecRacer VideoPlayer. They all require an external media server and the video won't be part of meeting recordings, but you do get the ability to have HD video in Connect.

This is another option, though users are at the mercy of YouTube servers:

eSynch also offers dedicated bandwidth via http://influxis.com/
