Pointer and Whiteboard Tools Available in Share Pod?

Our IT Help Desk is testing out using Connect Pro to shadow end user's screens. Their current tool, and others they are testing, allow a pointer to direct the remote end user's attention to certain fields and buttons.

I am not able to use Connect Pro's pointer or whiteboard tools in the Share Pod if the remote end user is sharing their desktop. This is an important requirement for our Help Desk. I figured out how to have the remote end user "Pause and Annotate", but this is not an effective way to walk them through a process.

Has anyone heard if the pointer and/or whiteboard tools can be available for use in the Share Pod while sharing a desktop?

You can "pause and annotate" which takes a screen capture, brings you back into the Connect room where you can use the same whiteboard tools available when sharing a document, and then resume sharing when you are done marking up the image.

The whiteboard tools cannot be used during a screenshare.  However, you can turn on the visibility of the hosts cursors under the Meeting menu.
