Thumb Tab doesn't appear

Hi there - I am using a Share pod to present a PowerPoint presentation from the Content library.  However, no Thumb tab appears on the Sidebar as described in the user guide. The tabs that appear are: Outline, Notes and Search.  Can anyone help?

(The following note appears in the user guide, however, I am definitely sharing the presentation from the Content library and not uploading directly from the computer into a meeting.

Note: If you upload your presentations directly from your computer and into a meeting, the Thumb tab is not displayed. Adobe recommends adding presentations to a meeting from the Content library.)
