Desktop sharing POD freezes

Last evening in a live broadcast I had the desktop sharing pod freeze three times. The video pod continued just fine and the audio was fine but I had to stop sharing and re-share 3 times to get through the 75 minute presentation. Any idea what causes this? I've never had this happen before.
