Use of Function Keys in a screen sharing session

Hello All

I am working to share an application that is an AS400 portal.

This kind system is keyboard command driven, and many of the essential functions are controlled by the F keys. When the screen is shared, and the user requests control, we are unable to use the function keys.

So here is the question:

Is there a configuration that will work to allow function key use doing a remote screen share?
Currently the users are all in the browser...not the add in. My guess at this point is that the F keys are "owned" by the browser and thus they fail.

Does anyone know if the Add-in will fix this (I have not tested this yet, but will later today)...if the Add-in does not fix it...any suggestions?

Thanks

Re: Use of Function Keys in a screen sharing session

UPDATE...

I was able to go back and test this...what I found was that once the user is logged into the add-in, the function keys seem to work. At this point I still have more testing to do, but it is a good sign.

So in the browser function keys do not work on the remote application control, the keys are mapped to the browser not your shared app.

If the user is in the Add-in, then the function keys seem to work.

Did anyone else have any other tips or workarounds?

Thanks
