Offline Recording Failing

I am trying to make a recording offline after editing. When I click on  Make Offline the Connect Window opens with a dialogue box telling me about screen resolution etc. Then I click on Proceed with offline recording and select the location where the .flv should be saved and click on Save.
At this point the recording window opens and nothing happens. If I try to click anywhere, pause button, or anywhere on the screen, the connect window shuts down and nothing gets recorded.

Am I doing something wrong or is there a fix for this problem?

Please help!

Re: Offline Recording Failing

make sure you have the most recent / updated Add-in.
Make sure you have Flash 11.3 or 11.5beta
Use Firefox to launch.

Close ALL OTHER APPS on the computer.  Disable any screen-savers etc.

If you have a large number of files you wish to process, you might try a little company called meetingxperts.com to do the downloads / edits for you, for a fee.

Re: Offline Recording Failing

Hi Jstegenga, thank you very much for your suggestsions.

I just tried launching with Firefox (v16.0.1) but failed again.

The version of the add-in I have is 11.2 r247 and Flash on my laptop is v11.4.31.

A few seconds after the recording starts I get a pop-up saying that the add-in has encountered an error and needs to close.

Any suggestions?

Many thanks

Marzia
