Participants losing connection from meeting when 1mb/s is hit

Hi everyone,

I was hoping someone could help or has seen/experienced this before?

I have done testing and logging and found that participants, always from the same company (big client) are experiencing quite a specific error.

find out what those computers need to go through before getting to connect.
switches/firewalls/load balancing/routing, etc...  it is most likely something that 'packet shapes' with a limit set.
we had an issue where our packet shaper thought connect traffic was file sharing and was restricting it.

Thank you, we can look to do that but we are at the whim of the client. Obviously they don't have to tell us their infrastructure set up etc. so ideally we'd like to go back with max 3 ideas with the knowledge that is has to be one of these idea's.

based on our experience, they have something in their network causing this.  simply ask them to prioritize connect traffic through their network, and to allot suitable bandwidth.

It's likely a firewall throttle. Ask them the kind of firewall they're using and investigate the standard values for port throughput. It is likely that the standard value is well below that limit. This was a well known issue amongst multiple vendors a few years back.

Check your anti virus too, real time scanning might be making it too slow
