Single Sign On (SSO) Implementation or customized login system

Hi,

I just want to understand what single sign on or customized login system people implemented for the Connect server.
For example, I have seen people implemented Shibboleth (http://shibboleth.net/). What other systems do people use for Connect authentication?

We use the Connect API to provide seamless login to Connect from our web applications.
