How to handle upgrade to v7
So, since Adobe is not giving us any DETAILS of the upgrade, like what DAY it will happen (I'm a hosted customer at acrobat.com), what is your strategy to deal with it?
I would really like to kick the tires on the new features of the final release and make sure that things are working before I have to go live with the changes. I did participate in the v7 beta, but there will still many open issues when that ended.
I suppose one option is to suspend ALL TRAINING during the month of May. How many of your supervisors would like this approach?
It would be really helpful, as a customer paying $30,000.00 to Adobe, to know when this crucial part of our training strategy is going to change.
<sigh>

According to the Adobe sessions "Introducing Connect Pro 7" they will be upgrading hosted customers on May 17.

I know. Isn't that great!?
We got 14 days (from the when the date was announced) to alert our users and update our orientation materials.
Yeehaw!
