Unable to Publish Captivate 4 to Adobe Connect Pro v.8

Hello all,

I recently had my computer upgraded to Windows 7 64 bit from Windows XP and now am unable to publish my Captivate videos to Adobe Connect Pro. I was able to do so with no problems before the upgrade.

When I attempt to publish the videos to Connect Pro, the wizard starts and prompts me for my Adobe Connect Pro logon. Once I log in, I get the following message:

Adobe Connect requires Flash Player 9.0.0.0. or above

I have the latest Flash version for IE (v.11) and have uninstalled and reinstalled many times to no avail. It is only the Home Page of Adobe Connect when in the wizard that I get this message; when I log on to the Adobe Connect Pro website from IE, everything displays fine.

Any help with this would be fantastic!

Did you try and run the Captivate in Administrator mode ?

To do so, right click on the application in start -> programs menu and click as run as administrator.

Though i m not sure, but i think this should resolve the issue.

Thank you so much for your help. I did try running Captivate in Administrator mode and no fix. Thank you for the advice though; I really appreciate it!
