Using the pen during recording

Hi,

during my presentations with PowerPoint in Slide Show mode, I usually use the pen to write and draw in my slides while I am talking.

When I record my presentation with Presenter, I have not seen a way to use a pen.

Does anyone know of a way how to use a pen during recording with Presenter?

In Presenter we simply videotaped a real life person drawing on a flip chart what would have been drawn with the pen.  Worked beautifully, easier and simpler than using the whiteboard feature in Connect and participants got something they were accustomed to seeing.
