Custom Pod With Blurry Text

First of all I would like to say Hello to everyone this is my first post and I have taken the big leap into  Flex and developing custom pods. I am running into some issues that someone here must know how to solve.

When I resize my custom pod small enough that a horizontal scroll bar appears the text inside goes blurry. I was advised that this was caused by advanced anti-aliasing. Inside every visible mx component I placed the property:

fontAntiAliasType="normal"

The issue still persists, does anyone have any ideas?

This seems to have magically solved itself now. I'm not sure if this has something to do with some changes to our Connect server. Very odd.
