Video bandwidth consumption - how to calculate?

How do I calculate the video pod bandwidth consumption for N participants?

Do I just multiply the number of participants by the average pod footprint?

The video size/footprint is not a straight forward calculation. On encoder level it depends on the bandwidth available to the user, the kind of background user has and movements in the video. On Connect level it depends on what is the video resolution that participants is using, what is the room bandwidth and Camera settings for that user.
Hence if N users are sharing their Camera, multiplying one footprint by N may give you a round about answer but not a concrete one.
You can try to see your current download speed with the green jewel at the top right of the meeting to see how much video streams add to your download speed and then add the upload to it so that your own video stream is added to it too.
