Audio from PowerPoint not appearing in timeline

Hi there - the Help for Captivate states: "Narration in a PowerPoint presentation slide is imported as a sound object and appears as a separate object on the Timeline."

This does not happen for me. I've repeated this in several test presentations. I've added audio to my PPT slides, then created a Cp from the file. The audio doesn't appear in the timeline, neither does it play if I press the "Play" icon in the timeline. It does play if I use the Preview options, except for the F3 "Play this slide" option.

As I can't see the audio, I can't synchronise my audio to animations that I bring in from PowerPoint or that I add in Cp.

I'd really appreciate some help here. Thanks - Suella
