Can't change the loading text
Dear friends,
I have tried to follow the guideline as shown below to change the loading text from "Adobe Presenter" to "internal use". Although I modified language.xml again and again, the loading text remains to be "Adobe Presenter".
http://www.adobepresenter.info/adobe-pr … ading-text
I have investigated the published presentation, and found, even though I have modified language.xml file, the file viewer.swf has no change at all. And the viewer.swf keeps showing "Adobe Presenter".
What's wrong with my operation? Please help.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Can't change the loading text
You can read back this thread. http://www.connectusers.com/forums/cucb … hp?id=4359
Also if you are making changes to Language.xml, I am assuming you want to change the text for all the presentations published there after. To reflect changes you need to publish presentation once again.
Let me know if the problem persists.

Re: Can't change the loading text
Can you upload files somewhere and send me the location? I will download from there.
Or you can take the language.xml from https://acrobat.com/#d=YP1K3svwNMD4unUgf*21hA
I have uploaded this file here. Just replace your original language.xml in theme folder(keep backup of you original one). The Custom text is Purnima test text. After publishing Presentation, this is the text you will see. To locate language.xml on your system follow instructions from http://www.adobepresenter.info/adobe-pr … ding-text/

Purnima,
Thank you very much for your help.
I have downloaded your language.xml and tried again, however, failed again.
And I have also reinstalled Presenter 7 software.

Would you please transfer my following Powerpoint file to presentation(zip) and send to me? My email address is sssofsss@gmail.com.

Re: Can't change the loading text
Did you replace your original language.xml in localApp data Theme folder for Presenter and publish it again?
I tried it and it worked for me.
I wont be able to publish it for you in Chinese as I work on English version.
Since you work on chinese locale, add the uitext filed in language id = cn.
I can see in you published output, that the edit is made for <language id=

Re: Can't change the loading text
Purnima,
Thanks a lot.
I download your zip file, unzip it, try and got an amazing result:
If I enter [My Computer] -> [Control Panel] -> [Regional and Language Options] -> [Standards and formats], change the language from Chinese to English, then lick index.html of the presentation, the loading text changes to "Internal Use".
However, when I change back to Chinese, then the loading text change back to "Adobe Presenter".
It's amazing~

Re: Can't change the loading text
I am not too sure of this issue.
The language id is the one for Operating system Language. So i would assume that if you enter the string for Language id = cn, it should have worked for you.
I have just done another attempt at the published output. I have shared it at http://www.mediafire.com/?7p8x7bm51tn994r. Just see if this one works. I don't know what text it will show coz i inputted something Chinese, but it shouldn't show Adobe Presenter.
Hope it works.

Re: Can't change the loading text
Purnima,
Thank you so much.
I have tried all languages, English, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean..., all display correctly, except Chinese.
When system is setup to Chinese, it keeps showing "Adobe Presenter".

Re: Can't change the loading text
Well in that case I would suggest you to log a case with Adobe and get this resolved. They must be having some workaround for this.
