Variables in PP Quiz results via Presenter

Hi, im trying to make a type of "certificate" option for the end of my courses upon completion. I have read the article on Adding Learner Certificates to Presenter and Captivate Courses(http://www.connectusers.com/tutorials/2009/02/certificates/) But this is very much beyond my scope of knowledge. I was wondering as a simple temporary solution could i just use more of the variables resulted in the Quiz results?

Meaning.. it currently displays the {percent} and the {total-attemps} now could i include things like {StudentName}, {CurrentDate} etc? I tried adding those vars but they displayed as they are now.. "{CurrentDate}". Im assuming this is because the text box that those standard Presenter results are housed in contain some sort of variable. So if those "other" variables do indeed exist, how do i apply a variable name to a PowerPoint Text box?

I hope this makes sense.. please let me know if i need to explain this further.

I am looking to do the same thing, but my lack of programing knowledge sure makes it difficult.
Maybe there will be someting in 8 that will help make it easier for us non-programers.
