I need to display entered text  (In shared document, power point presentation, etc.) by the student to other students and the host in real time, every entered letter is visible to all participants in the moment of entering . Is it possible ?
How to do this ? Is it possible in Adobe Captivate ?

Re: how to display entered text by student in real time in textbox ?

you can achieve this by having the student share their screen in Connect Pro Meeting.

See here for a tutorial on screen sharing:

Re: how to display entered text by student in real time in textbox ?

Thank You for the reply, but unfortunately this is not the exact answer I wanted to get.
I would like to know whether it is possible to share some applications (like excel or some exercises for students) where the students could, apart from seeing the content, edit it eg. put down some words, match some words with definitions or write entire sentences so that all the students( and the host) participating in the meeting/traing/lesson could see the changes and write something in it as well.
All this should be done in the real time, I mean something like a lesson performed on-line, via the Internet.
Is it possible at all? If so, please respond asap.
I would be very grateful for help.

regards,
Mariusz.

Re: how to display entered text by student in real time in textbox ?

The only way this is possible is to use the CollaborationBuilder SDK to create collaborative Flash Applicaitons to do this: http://my.adobe.acrobat.com/p71543311/

There are existing CollaborationBuilder Apps built  by others here:
http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/exchange/i … &loc=en_us

For example, there is a Jeopardy Like Quiz Bowl Game available for download here:
http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/exchange/i … id=1068969

One other, more simple approach would be to import content (Images, Uploaded PDFs, etc) and use the whiteboard overlay to draw lines, type text, etc.  If you want to allow students to use the whiteboard tools, you'll have to allow Participants rights to use the whiteboard tools.

Whiteboard Information here...note that the whiteboard can exist on its own or as a layer above any uploaded content (the Whiteboard Overlay)

Does CollaborationBuilder SDK https://admin.adobe.acrobat.com/_a295153/p71543311/
works with Adobe Flash CS4 ?

I use Adobe Flash CS4. I follow the instruction from
http://www.adobe.com/devnet/acrobatconn … c_swf.html

Re: how to display entered text by student in real time in textbox ?

Hi - I've just joined the connect community forum so am catching up by reading threads that are of interest.  Can I ask, Mariusz, if you found a solution to what you were looking for?  the reason I ask is that we are in the process of developing our own tools using the Adobe Connect Collaborative SDK.  We have developed a tool called 'stickystorm'  which is basically brainstorming with virtual sticky notes - everyone types their own notes and can 'post' them onto a shared board but we are looking at other tools we need.

I am interested with the solution as well. We are dealing with a similar predicament.
