Connect Pro 7.5 and Proxy Server settings

Hello everybody.

Today I was asked by an Adobe tehc support guy to attend a meeting session to an Adobe hosted Connect Server whose details follows:

My laptop was configured to make use of our internal proxy server (Squid) and I was trying to use Firefox to connect; once I entered my username/password, the Acrobat plugin started but it remained "stuck" a the small window which usually announces that it's starting.

At the end, I was not able to join the meeting,.

I went to Firefox, disabled the use of the proxy, restarted Firefox but things did not change; to SOLVE it, I had to disable the use of the proxy server from within Internet Explorer.

Once I accomplished that, I was able to join the meeting with Firefox.

The above does not occur with CP7 (SP2/SP3).

Anyone with the same problem?
