Session Purged?

In our custom API, we initiate the session with the adobe connect server and authenticate. On subsequent requests, we use this session (it is already authenticated now).

Now, what do we do incase the connect server somehow purges our session?

One of the solutions would be to read the Status for No-Access and Subcode for No-Login and then redo the request. The other solution would be to "verify authentication" before a request.

Any other solutions/recommendations?
