Audio Issue

Hi I'm an Adobe Connect admin for a post secondary educational institution. I had an instructor record a meeting and there is no audio. In the recording you can see the mic icon flashing beside their name but no audio was recorded. Any idea on what could have caused this. I've had instructors not enable audio in there meetings but then the mic icon doesn't display. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Were the instructors using VOIP to broadcast audio? Were the students able to hear the audio in live session?
